Luciano Kirst was appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, Operations within the Reynolds American group in January 2026. He leads the Reynolds American companies’ overall Operations, including oversight of production, supply chain, local leaf, and regulatory compliance.
Luciano’s career with the global BAT Group spans nearly three decades, and prior to assuming his current role, he held several Leadership Roles, including Operations Director roles in West Africa, Russia and Brazil and Regional Operations Director for AME (Americas & Europe).
Most recently, since 2023, he served as Global Head of Supply Network Operations for the global BAT Group based in London. During his tenure, he led significant transformations in supply chain by investing in above market models and new technologies, delivering real time responsiveness, supply chain resilience & agility and outstanding service levels. Under his leadership, he commenced a strategic factory footprint transformation and an external collaboration agenda to deliver asset-light manufacturing capabilities.
Supporting the Reynolds American organization’s Smokeless World ambitions, Luciano will continue to build multi-category growth, specifically with domestic Modern Oral production. He will continue to be a member of BAT’s Global Operations Leadership Team.
