XVIII. EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY,
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION AND
WORKPLACE DIVERSITY

The principles and practices of equal employment opportunity, affirmative action and workforce diversity contribute to the achievement of the Company's business objectives.

A. Equal Employment Opportunity

The Company provides equal employment opportunity in all personnel actions. It is expected that you will not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability or veteran status. In addition, it is expected that you will strive to maintain a workplace that is free from sexual harassment and other forms of harassment on the basis of any of the foregoing.

It is unlawful for you to discriminate or retaliate against any employee or applicant because he or she has opposed an unlawful employment practice, filed a discrimination charge or testified, assisted or participated in any manner in an investigation, proceeding or hearing related to the Company's employment practices.

B. Affirmative Action

Operating subsidiaries of the Company that are engaged in the performance of any nonexempt federal contract are required to maintain annual Affirmative Action Plans for minorities, women, people with disabilities and Vietnam Era and disabled veterans for each covered establishment. You are expected to actively support the achievement of the affirmative action goals, as applicable, that may be set forth in such Affirmative Action Plans.

C. Workplace Diversity

The Company values the individual differences among its employees. Every employee brings different talents, perspectives and experiences that enrich the workplace and strengthen the Company's ability to achieve its goals. Each employee is expected to work toward creating a climate and culture within the Company that engenders respect, and encourages and expects the maximum input and contribution from all employees regardless of level, position, age, gender, race, ethnic background or other individual differences.
